Like most, I find that I thrive best when doing what brings me happiness; however, as I got older, I realized that seeing or hearing others find theirs, even if not a shared passion, became a deep source of happiness for me, as well. In a matter of seconds, an unsaid bond would form rooted in a yearning for life as it was meant to be lived and what was once a seemingly endless battle to continuously fall in love with life every day is now made that much more digestible by simply acknowledging the humanity in others. Everyone is trying to find their place in a sea of faces, passions, and specialisms; however, the common realization most reach in their young adult life will always stand true - time is limited and our energy is measured; but our capacity to love is infinite and our energy becomes sacred. Invest it into meaningful connections, especially those that stress the innate beauty of being human, and the ROI increases a hundredfold.
